Overview

KNH invites bids for the supply and delivery of calibration tools (Reserved for Youth, Women and People Living with Disability). This is an open national tender targeting vendors with calibration-tool supply capabilities to deliver to Nairobi, Kenya. Submissions are via a hard-copy, sealed bid to KNH’s Supply Chain Management Division; electronic submissions are not permitted. The tender is reserved for specified groups and requires compliance with Kenyan public-procurement rules.

Requirements

• Eligibility and compliance: anti-corruption declaration; not debarred; no conflicts of interest; JV members liable for the contract; adequate representation if a JV.
• Documents to submit: Form of Tender; Price Schedules; Tender Security or Tender-Securing Declaration; Manufacturer’s Authorization (if applicable); Joint Venture Agreement (if JV); evidence of eligibility and qualifications; conformity to technical specs.
• Qualifications: tax clearance; proof of manufacturer authorization if not the supplier; ability to supply and maintain calibration tools; origin declarations for goods.
• Conformity and local content: goods must meet the technical requirements; origin declarations; where applicable, local sourcing rules and environmental standards.
• Miscellaneous: serialization of tender pages; confidentiality and integrity of the process; compliance with ITT requirements.
