Overview

Supply and delivery of catering services for Mtjhabeng Local Municipality, including breakfast, lunch and beverages for 500 delegates on 06 August 2026, delivered prepacked to Meloding Community Hall. Eligible bidders are catering service providers with the capacity to provide kitchen, transport, staff, and compliant with health/food-safety requirements; must meet local health certificate and CSD/tax compliance conditions.

Requirements

• Mandatory food and health certificate issued by Mtjhabeng Local Municipality (non-submission leads to disqualification).
• Quotation must be on official letterhead with VAT where applicable, accurate banking details, and include CSD MAaa number and Tax PIN; return all SBD forms with the quotation.
• Compliance documentation for preferential procurement: SBD 6.1, medical certificate for disability (if claimed), SANAS/B-BBEE certificate or sworn ownership affidavit, and CIPC Ownership Certificate.
• Tax and supplier compliance: SARS Tax Compliance PIN or CSD number; ensure tax status is compliant.
• Adhere to the 80/20 preference-point system for bids up to R50M; claim specific-goal points (Black ownership, Women, disabilities) with required documentary proof.
• All SBD forms (SBD 4 and SBD 6.1) must be completed and signed.

• Submit a formal quotation on your company letterhead, including VAT per item, CSD MAaa number, and banking details; send to Quotations1@dffe.gov.za by closing 29 July 2026 11:00 (RFQ RFQ092 AM (26/27)) (see Final Request for quotation- Community Catering Services - 06 August 2026.pdf).
• Include returnable documents: completed SBDs, supplier quotation, CSD report, and Tax PIN; ensure compliance with tax/CSD requirements (see RFQ).

• No briefing session is required for this RFQ (none stated) (see Final RFQ document).
• Delivery is contingent on an official purchase order; prices must be firm and inclusive of VAT; RFQ price validity is 90 days from closing date (see Annexure A).
• Annexure A defines the delivery specifics: delivery date 06 August 2026, at Meloding Community Hall, Virginia, Mtjhabeng Local Municipality, for 500 pax (breakfast 07:00, lunch 13:00) and prepacked meal service.
