Overview

Procurement of supply and delivery of catering services for Mtjhabeng Local Municipality, Free State Province, including prepacked breakfast and lunch for 500 delegates on 06 August 2026. Bidders should be catering service providers with a valid food and health certificate, capable of supplying beverages, utensils, and service at a community hall, and able to submit a formal quotation on letterhead.

Requirements

• Mandatory: valid copy of food and health certificate.
• Submit a formal quotation on official company letterhead; include VAT per item, CSD MA AA number, and banking details.
• Submit completed and signed SBDs (SBD 4 and SBD 6.1) and a CSD report.
• Provide tax compliance: SARS PIN or TCS; if no TCS, provide CSD number.
• Bidder must not be in State service; disclosures on related relationships or interests.
• Preference points claimed under 80/20 system with Specific Goals (BBEE ownership rules; proof required).
• All pricing must be firm and VAT inclusive; price valid for 90 days from closing date.

• Submission deadline: 04 August 2026 at 13:30 (RFQ112 AM (26/27)) (see attached RFQ).
• Submit via email to Quotations1@dffe.gov.za with RFQ number in the subject.
• Documents to submit: completed SBDs (SBD4, SBD6.1) and SBD1 where applicable, supplier quotation on letterhead, CSD report, tax/vat details, and proof for any preferential points.
• Pre-qualifications: Tax compliance status (PIN/TCS) or CSD number; VAT registration; CSD MAAA number; POPIA compliance noted.
• Briefing session: None for this RFQ (see Annexure A).
• Delivery details: No goods before official order; delivery date 06 August 2026 to Meloding Community Hall, Virginia, Mtjhabeng Local Municipality (see Annexure A).
