Overview

Supply and delivery of coated class A reflective glass beads for road markings under a 36-month contract. The City of Cape Town invites bids from bead manufacturers/suppliers capable of supplying Class A beads; open tender through Roads Infrastructure Management. Key buyer requirements include SCM compliance, data sheets, samples, and registration on national and city supplier databases.

Requirements

• Compliance with the SCM Policy and all returnable documents; no abuse of the process.
• Manufacturer’s technical data sheet (including grading) and a 2 kg product sample.
• Tax compliance (SARS) with a valid Tax Compliance PIN; separate PINs for each JV/consortium party.
• Registration on the City of Cape Town Supplier Database and on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD).
• Attendance at the compulsory site visit/clarification meeting.
• Completion of all returnable schedules (e.g., Details of Tenderer, Certificate/Declaration forms, and the price schedule).
