Overview

RFQ for the supply and delivery of coldroom goods for 4 months to Ushaka Marine World. Bidders must be registered on the Central Supplier Database and EThekwini Supplier Portal, have refrigerated delivery capability, and submit a sealed quotation that covers the listed refrigerated items.

Requirements

• Registration on CSD and EThekwini Supplier Portal; good standing with SARS.
• Submit tax clearance or SARS PIN/TCS as required (including for principals/consortium).
• Fully completed and signed MBD forms: MBD1, MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD8, MBD9.
• Refrigerated delivery vehicle: signed confirmation on company letterhead.
• Offer to be submitted on a company letterhead; sealed and numbered envelope.
• Stage One administrative compliance: mandatory checks (CSD, MBDs, delivery vehicle letter, etc.).
• Non-mandatory: BBBEE certificate (consortium/JV/trust), SARS TCS PIN, JV/Consortium agreements.
• Tender follows 80/20 Price/Specific Goals preference points; delivery terms and 4-month fixed pricing.

How to Apply

• Submission deadline: 14 October 2026 at 11:00 AM. Submissions to Ushaka Marine World tender box at Guest Information Centre, 1 King Shaka Avenue, Durban (sealed, labeled “RFQ DG 386…”).
• Method: hard-copy bid in a sealed envelope (or online per document); public opening. See (see Main Tender Document: dg-386.pdf).
• Documents to submit: completed MBD1, MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD8, MBD9; Tax Clearance/TCS PIN; CSD report; SARS information; refrigeration delivery letter; pricing schedule on official forms.
• Pre-qualifications: CSD registration; tax/compliance status; consider SARS PIN/CSD numbers per Part A/B of the tender.
• Briefing: Compulsory Site Briefing – N/A (no briefing required).
