Overview

Procurement of a new combine harvester, to be supplied and delivered to the Eastern Cape Department of Agriculture. Suitable bidders are service providers with proven cropping mechanization experience, delivery capacity in the Eastern Cape, ability to provide spare parts for at least five years, and compliance with government tender requirements (CSD/LOGIS registration, tax compliance).

Requirements

• Eligibility: registered on CSD and LOGIS; compliant Tax status; not restricted from state business.
• Capability: demonstrable experience in supplying cropping mechanization machinery; ability to meet delivery timelines; provide proof of own or fleet transport capacity.
• Locality: operating within the Eastern Cape (preferable) with proof of address.
• Aftermarket: spare parts availability for at least five years; operator and maintenance manuals.
• Compliance: complete SBD and related forms in black ink; no correction fluid; supplier arrangement form if general dealer; provide references for similar deliveries.
• Financials: pricing in Rand; fixed for contract duration; VAT shown separately if applicable.
• Submissions: bid validity period (98 days per tender data); responses submitted in sealed envelopes by the stated deadline; two-envelope system where indicated; all documents returnable as specified.
• Additional: compulsory briefing (virtual) on 16 Oct 2026 11:00; JV agreements if applicable; respond to clarifications within required windows.
