Overview

Supply and delivery of concrete admixtures for the raising of Clanwilliam Dam for 48 months, including dosing equipment, to the Department of Water and Sanitation. Bidders should be chemical/material suppliers with appetite for on-site delivery to a dam construction site and capability to provide mix-design testing support, per the NTGCC/contract terms.

Requirements

• Registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and tax compliant with SARS; proof or arrangements required.
• Demonstrate the necessary professional/technical qualifications, financial resources, equipment, and personnel to perform the contract.
• Not subject to restrictions for corrupt/fraudulent practices; in good standing with the compensation fund/insurer (COID).
• Attend compulsory clarification meeting; sign attendance/register (Annexure A).
• Submit returnable documents: SBD 1, SBD 4, SBD 6.1 and Annexures A–S, including manufacturer supply letters and CIPC/annexures (as applicable).
• Bidder may be disqualified for non-compliance, non-responsiveness, or multiple bids; ensure valid sign-off authority (Annexure L).
• Tender evaluation follows 80/20 PPPFA, with six phases (Mandatory, Samples, Technical, Price/Preference, Evaluation Method 3, Admin Compliance).
