Overview

Procurement of supply and delivery of consumables for the Water Works Section. Bidders should be capable suppliers, preferably residents of Moqhaka Local Municipality, with valid BBBEE status, and with required supplier registrations and compliance (CSD, CIDB where applicable).

Requirements

• Tax clearance or SARS PIN (with joint-venture copies if applicable)
• CIDB registration/grading certificate if applicable
• Municipal rates/taxes clearance or approved alternative (not older than 3 months)
• Certified ID copies of company directors
• Company registration documents (CIPC CK) showing active directors
• B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit (SANAS-accredited)
• Centralised Supplier Database (CSD) registration and proof
• Pricing schedule and MBD forms as specified in the RFQ
• Attestation to comply with specifications and ability to deliver as required

How to Apply

• Submission deadline: 12:00 on 08 September 2026; fully completed original RFQ in sealed envelope; submit to bid box at Corner 11 & 12 Way, Magasyn/Stores, Industrial, Kroonstad (RFQ close details in the RFQ documents) (RFQ Document Supply and Delivery of Consumables for Water Works Section (3-1-005-2026-27).pdf)
• Submission method: hand delivery, courier, or post to the bid box; no email submissions
• Documents to complete/submit: complete RFQ in black ink, signed; no retyping; all pages present; include MBD forms and pricing schedule (as per RFQ)
• Required registrations/pre-qualifications: CSD registration (attach proof); CIDB if applicable; tax clearance; SANAS-accredited B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit

Note: The RFQ uses an 80/20 preferential points system, and Moqhaka residents with BBBEE status are favored per the municipality’s policy.
