Overview

SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF CONSUMER STANDPIPE for Ugu District Municipality. Bidders should be suppliers of plumbing hardware (standpipes, PVC pipes, fittings, related items) with capability to deliver to municipal depots, and must satisfy municipal procurement requirements (CSD registration, SARS tax compliance, CIPC registration) and complete the prescribed bid forms and goal documentation.

Requirements

• CSD registration with an updated report (not older than 3 months)
• Tax compliance: valid SARS Tax Compliance Status PIN or TCS certificate
• CIPC registration and certified IDs for directors/owners; VAT registration number
• Complete and submit MBD1 (Part A & B), MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD8, and MBD9, with supporting goal documentation
• Proof of municipal service payments (e.g., water account/lease) and disability proof if applicable
• Declaration that the bidder is not in the state’s service, not listed as a restricted supplier or Bid Defaulter
• Bidders must comply with GCC and PPPFA requirements and provide appropriate evidence for specific goals (ownership, local enterprise, youth/women/disabled)

How to Apply

• Submission deadline: 12:00 on 15 October 2026; bids sealed, endorsed with REQ27009, deposited in the Official Tender Box at 96 Marine Drive, Phase 3, Oslo Beach
• Submission method: hard-copy submission to the bid box; late or non-compliant submissions will be disqualified; bids must be on official forms (not re-typed)
• Documents to complete and submit: MBD1 (Part A & B), MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD8, MBD9; CSD report; SARS TCS PIN or TCS certificate; CIPC registration; ID copies; VAT number; proof of local goals as required
• Required registrations: Central Supplier Database (CSD) with updated report; SARS Tax Compliance; CIPC registration; VAT (if applicable)
