Overview

Johannesburg Water seeks the supply and delivery of shouldered couplings SG42 110mm and 160mm for high‑impact MPVC pipe. Suitable bidders include manufacturers/distributors of MPVC fittings who can provide manufacture datasheets and brand names. Mandatory qualifications include CSD registration, tax clearance, BBBEE, and compliance with JPW’s supply chain policies. A brief site briefing is required at the address in the RFQ, and a 60‑day validity period applies.

Requirements

• Datasheet compulsory; provide manufacture datasheet and brand names; samples may be requested (6000080636).
• Brand names and manufacturer datasheets for all items.
• Administrative/compliance: Original Tax Clearance; BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit; municipal rates statement (not older than 90 days); MBD 4, MBD 8, MBD 9; proof of CSD registration; MBD 6.1; company registration documents with directors’ IDs (6000080636).
• No quotes from state-employed persons or blacklisted entities. Quotes must be on company letterhead and in PDF.
• PPPFA: price and specific goals scoring (80/20 or 90/10, with specific goals 20 points).
• Specific goal: SMME target of 51%+ black ownership.
