Supply and delivery of Detectors to iThemba LABS, GautengClosed

Overview

Procurement of Canberra Partially Depleted PIPS Rutherford Backscattering Spectrometry (RBS) alpha detectors (PD 150-14-100 AM, active area 150 mm2) for iThemba LABS TAMS Gauteng, with delivery to iThemba LABS. Bidders should be specialists in nuclear instrumentation and detector supply, capable of meeting detailed technical specs, CSD/tax compliance, and BBBEE requirements. Requirements

• Must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and provide CSD Summary Report.
• Tax compliance: provide tax PIN verification status.
• BBBEE: submit B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit as applicable; provide SBD 4 and SBD 6.1.
• Technical documentation: supply datasheets/technical literature meeting minimum RFQ specs.
• Price/contract: prices inclusive of VAT; valid for at least 60 days from closing date; PPPFA 80/20 evaluation; payments terms 30 days from receipt of invoice (or shorter terms if agreed with a payment guarantee).
• Delivery: firm delivery period; lead times to be stated.
• Compliance: bidder must disclose any relevant relationships and declarations per SBD 4 and SBD 6.1 forms; ensure no non-compliance with PPPFA/GCC terms.

• Closing date/time: 20 July 2026 (RFQ documents specify 16:00). Pricing must remain valid for 60 days.
