Overview

Supply and delivery of digital cameras and related equipment for Stellenbosch Municipality, including a mirrorless camera kit, lenses, wireless microphone system, high-speed memory cards, batteries and a camera backpack. Bidders should be suppliers of professional media equipment capable of supplying a full kit with warranty, suitable for municipal communications and events; compliance with public procurement rules (CSD, SARS tax compliance, BBBEE, VAT) is required.

Requirements

• Registration on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) or provision of CSD/PIN; tax compliance with SARS (TCS) and, if applicable, Part B for foreign suppliers.
• Submit BBBEE status proof (SANAS-verification certificate or original sworn affidavit) and claim locality points with proof of Stellenbosch premises if applicable.
• Complete and sign the required bid forms: MBD1, MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD8, MBD9; pricing on MBD3.1; provide municipal account not older than 90 days.
• Prices must be firm, inclusive of VAT; show VAT registration number; follow 90-day bid validity and other conditions; ensure capability to meet technical specs (minimum 2-year camera warranty, 1-year lens warranty).
• Conform to the evaluation criteria: compliance with technical specs, at least 2 years relevant experience, and references; adhere to the 80/20 preference points system (price 80, BBBEE 10, locality 10).

• Submission method and documents: use official forms; bid documents available from the Supply Chain Management Unit (1st floor, Plein Street) or download from www.stellenbosch.gov.za; non-refundable fee of R50 if obtained in person; bids must be in non-erasable ink and on the provided forms.
• Documents to submit (per checklist): MBD1, Authority to sign, MBD3.1 pricing, MBD4, MBD6.1, B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit, MBD8, MBD9, municipal payments certificate, proof of registration on CSD/TCS PIN, and references; ensure all pages signed and initialled where required.
