Overview

Procurement of supplies for Dry Food: supply and delivery under a two-year framework contract. Open to eligible suppliers of non-perishable and perishable dry food (beans, maize, flour, etc.) with capacity to deliver in Kenya. Bidders must meet the mandatory prequalification/clearance requirements and provide complete tender documents (tape-bound, paginated).

Requirements

• Registered legal entity (certificate of incorporation/registration).
• Valid Tax Compliance Certificate and KRA PIN; National Trading/Business Permit.
• Confidential Business Questionnaire; self-declaration on corruption/debarment.
• Tape-bound, sequentially paginated tender document; signed on company letterhead.
• Complete Price Schedule; unit and total prices in Kenya Shillings; include taxes and delivery.
• Public health certificates for premises/personnel.
• CR12 (or ID in sole proprietor case); two years audited financial statements; bank statements (last 6 months).
• Evidence of financial capacity (credit reference from a bank).
• Electronic Government Procurement (EGP) profile.
• Ensure all documents are in English or translated where required.
• Tender security form (as applicable) and adherence to bid validity (60 days) and price fixedness.

How to Apply

• Deadline: 29 June 2026 at 10:00 (local time).
• Submission: sealed envelopes marked with Tender No.; deposit in the Tender Box at the County Commissioner’s Office – Supply Chain Management, Bungoma (or as otherwise stated).
• Documents to submit: Tender Form; Price Schedule; all MR1–MR14 documents; tape-binded and paginated tender; copies per requirement.
• Documents may be downloaded free from www.tenders.go.ke; or obtained at the Bungoma Supply Chain Management Office for a fee.
• Pre-tender clarifications: submit in writing to the Procuring Entity; responses issued to all bidders. No pre-bid meeting indicated.
• Evaluation: tenders must be substantially responsive and lowest evaluated per item; price validity 60 days; currency in KSh; final contract to be signed after award.
• Post-award: successful bidder to provide performance security; contract signed within 30 days of notification.
