Overview

Framework agreement for the supply and delivery of dry food, perishables, kitchen cutleries and equipment to Sigor Sub County Hospital for FY 2026-2028. This open tender is aimed at suppliers capable of delivering hospital food items and related equipment under a framework arrangement. It is open to eligible Kenyan and foreign bidders, with local-content and compliance rules applicable.

Requirements

• Eligibility and integrity: comply with PPADA provisions; no corrupt, fraudulent, or collusive practices; no debarment; conflict of interest declarations.
• JV rules: joint ventures allowed with up to 3 members; all members jointly and severally liable.
• Nationality and local content: foreign bidders must demonstrate at least 40% local inputs; JVs with Kenyan ownership thresholds apply; avoid restricted subcontracting (foreign firms not to exceed 10% of contract price for JVs).
• Tax and environment: evidence of tax compliance (or tax exemption); environmental/health standards aligned with Section VII requirements.
• Documentation: Form of Tender, priced Activity Schedule, joint venture or intent to form JV, power of attorney, and conformity/evidence of qualifications; no tender security is required (per ITT/ TDS).
• Tender validity and currency: tender valid for 735 days; currency for tender and payments is Kenyan Shillings.
