Overview

Johannesburg Water seeks the supply and delivery of electrical cables (35, 50, 70, 95 mm2 flexible single-core; 1.5 mm 3-core; 2.5 mm 3-core; 2.5 mm 4-core) to Diepsloot, Johannesburg. Bidders should be electrical cable suppliers with evidence of OEM or authorized distributor for the components, and the bidder must be 51%+ Black Youth owned (with proof required). Submissions must be via the E-Tender Portal (see attached document 6000080538 Electrical Cables.pdf).

Requirements

• Full completion of the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) / specification
• Attendance at compulsory site briefing (where applicable)
• Attach datasheet, reference letters, proof of certification, accreditation, functionality requirements (where applicable)
• No RFQ from persons in the service of the state; not blacklisted; quotes on company letterhead
• Submission of a Joint Venture Agreement if applicable
• NB: 51%+ Black Youth ownership; submit valid proof of enquiry from OEM or authorised distributor for supplied components
• Returnable documents to enable evaluation:
  • Original valid Tax Clearance Certificate
  • BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit
  • Municipal rates and taxes (not older than 90 days in arrears)
  • MBD 4 (Declaration of Interest)
  • MBD 8 (Declaration of Bidder’s SCM practices)
  • MBD 9 (Certificate of Independent Bid Determination)
  • Proof of CSD registration / supplier number
  • MBD 6.1 (Preference points claim form)
  • Company registration documents with IDs of directors
