SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF ELECTRICAL GLOVES AND MATERIALS AS PER SIZES OVER 36 MONTHS

Overview

Procurement: Supply and delivery of electrical globes and materials stock items in sizes as required, for 36 months. Target bidders are electrical goods suppliers capable of providing globes and related materials (see MBD3.1 pricing schedule). Key prerequisites include registration on the Central Supplier Database, SARS Tax Clearance (TCS PIN), BBBEE compliance, SABS certification, and proof of company experience.

Requirements

• Bidder must be registered on the Central Supplier Database and provide relevant registrations (CSD/PIN where applicable).
• Tax compliance: SARS PIN or Tax Clearance certificate; original TCS certificate required with bid. Separate certificates for consortia/joint ventures/sub-contractors.
• Minimum documents: valid company registration, BBBEE certificate (or sworn affidavit), proof of bank rating, SABS certificate, and references demonstrating supply/delivery experience.
• Compliance with tender rules: no bids from persons in the state service; complete all Municipal Bidding Documents (MBDs) and the pricing schedule; include proof of bid payment.
• Pricing: firm prices only; prices must include all taxes; delivery costs to the specified destination; delivery timeframe as per schedule.
• Evaluation: 80/20 preference points (price vs specific goals); specific goals include previously disadvantaged individuals and local empowerment.

• Deadline: submit by 20 November 2026 at 12:00.
• Submission: sealed bid in the bid box at ground floor, Abaqulusi Local Municipality, corner of High Street and Mark Street, Vryheid 3100.
