Overview

Supply and delivery of electrical materials to Tambach Teachers College. The open national tender is reserved for youth; bidders may bid for one or more lots and must meet a Kenyan procurement framework as outlined in the attached documents.

Requirements

• Eligibility and conduct: comply with ITT 3 (no public officers; no conflicts of interest; not debarred). Joint ventures allowed with a representative; multiple JV members allowed as per TDS.
• Financial/regulatory: provide a current tax clearance certificate; ensure compliance with Kenyan procurement law (including anti-corruption declarations and competition rules).
• Tender security: submit a Tender Security or Tender-Securing Declaration as specified in the TDS.
• Manufacturer/agent: if not the manufacturer, provide Manufacturer's Authorization; if outside Kenya, appoint a local representative for maintenance/spares as required.
• Goods eligibility and conformity: declare country of origin; supply evidence of conformity to technical specifications; include spare parts/sources information.
• Documentation and language: Tender and key documents in English; translations acceptable for supporting materials.
• Submissions: failure to provide required documents or non-conforming goods may render the tender non-responsive.
• Compliance: avoid prohibited or harmful goods; adhere to Schedule of Requirements and environmental rules.
• Pre-qualification/registrations: as defined in the Tender Data Sheet (TDS) (e.g., regulatory registrations where required).

How to Apply

• Obtain documents: hard copy tender documents (KSh 1000) or view/download for free from www.tambachteacherstraining.co.ke; electronic copies emailed to tambachttc@yahoo.com (see SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF ELECTRICAL MATERIALS).
• Clarifications: address inquiries in writing to the Procuring Entity; pre-tender meeting details, if any, in the TDS.
• Prepare tender: include Form of Tender, Price Schedules, Tender Security, JV documents if applicable, Manufacturer's Authorization, tax clearance, and evidence of eligibility/conformity (as per ITT 10–16).
• Submit: one sealed original plus copies to the tender box at Tambach Teachers College Boardroom by 21/07/2026 at 11:00 (physical submission only; electronic tenders not permitted) (SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF ELECTRICAL MATERIALS).
• Opening: public opening immediately after the deadline at the Boardroom; attendance by tenderers’ representatives.
