Overview

Supply and delivery of electrical toolboxes and electrical testing equipment for a period two years (Re-advert). Open to accredited service providers capable of supplying electrical toolboxes and testing equipment to a municipality; contract duration is two years.

Requirements

• JV arrangements must be complete; all partners submit required documents.
• Submit all MBD forms (1–9) and Annexures A–F; misfiling renders tender non-responsive.
• Disclose in MBD4 any companies involved.
• For offers ≥ R10 million, sign MBD5 and provide audited annual financial statements for the past three years.
• CIDB: Level 6+ bidders with allocations > R10 million must submit audited financial statements (CIDB/Govt rules apply; note N/A grading for this item per ad).
• Latest municipal rates statement (not older than 3 months); lease documents if occupying leased property; or municipal confirmation if not liable for rates (director’s property statements also required).
• Bidders must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD).
• All certified copies must be no older than six months; do not use erasing fluids.
• Pricing must be clear; total cost must match the front-page bid price.
• Bids are valid for 90 days; late, incomplete, unsigned, or non-compliant bids are disqualified.
• Briefing sessions: attendance mandatory only where applicable.
• Bids must be sealed, clearly marked with SCM Number and Project Name, and placed in the designated tender box.
