Overview

Supply and delivery of EPWP PPE to Umsobomvu Local Municipality. This is an RFQ open to PPE suppliers capable of meeting municipal procurement, safety, and B-BBEE requirements (see RFQ documents for specifics).

Requirements

• Complete quotation on company letterhead; price must be incl VAT and in black ink.
• Tax Compliance: valid SARS Tax Clearance PIN/Certificate.
• Corporate documents: certified copies of directors’ IDs, company registration/CIPC documents.
• B-BBEE: certified evidence from SANAS/IRBA/SANA or affidavit.
• Municipal accounts: no undisputed arrears; if in arrears, provide settlement arrangements.
• Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration with proof printout.
• Not a service of government; include municipality’s address and VAT number on the quote.
• Hold goods for 90 days; supply must comply with GCC/SCC and SABS approval requirements.
• For JV/consortium: provide joint venture agreement and all HDI/B-BBEE documentation for the entity.
• Site meetings: if called, attendance is compulsory (where applicable).
• Documentation completeness: include MBD forms (MBD1, MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD8, MBD9) and pricing schedule (see documents).
• Pricing and evaluation: 80/20 PPPA-based scoring; 20 points for specific goals (women-owned 10, youth-owned 10).
• Product must be SABS approved.
• If lease is involved, attach lease and ensure lessee/lessor details appear on the agreement.

• Ensure all forms are completed in black ink, signed, and submitted as a sealed price quotation in the tender box at 21 A Church Street, Colesberg, 9795 by 12:00 on 07 August 2026 (closing time).
• Submission method: sealed written quotes; late, faxed, or electronic submissions will not be accepted.
• Include: Tax clearance pin/certificate, certified IDs of directors, company registration, B-BBEE evidence, municipal account status, CSD printout, lease documents if applicable, and all MBD forms and the pricing schedule (see document references).
