Overview

Procurement of a single ergonomic high-back leather office chair, with adjustable headrest, arms, swivel/tilt and gas height adjustment, to be delivered to the KwaZulu-Natal Department of Transport in Pietermaritzburg. Bidders should be office furniture suppliers with capability to meet South African public sector SCM requirements (tax clearance, SARS PIN or CSD registration, BBBEE documentation, delivery logistics, and compliance with GCC and related forms).

Requirements

• Ergonomic high-back leather chair with: adjustable headrest, adjustable arms, swivel & tilt, gas height adjustment, back support.
• Prices on official firm-price pricing schedule; bid valid for 120 days.
• Delivery to 172 Burger Street, Pietermaritzburg 3201 within 5 working days (or as specified by end-user).
• Tax compliance: SARS PIN, Tax Clearance or CSD number; original tax clearance certificate.
• BBBEE: submit applicable BBBEE evidence (EME/QSE sworn affidavit or certificate) to claim specific-goal points.
• Insurance: Professional Indemnity insurance minimum R160 million (per contract).
• Warranty: 12 months from delivery/acceptance.
• Payment: within 30 days after receipt of invoice and delivery note.
• Performance security and GCC/SCC compliance; post-award contract with SBD forms (SBD 3.1, 4, 6.1, 7.1).
• Disclosure declarations and anti-corruption/competition provisions.
