Overview

Procurement of supply and delivery of essential equipment in preparation of El Niño rains and related emergencies. Open to qualified tenderers to supply goods and related services for Nairobi City County Government (NCC/DMC/T/003/2026-2027).

Requirements

• Eligibility and compliance with Kenyan public procurement rules; no disqualifying conflicts of interest or debarment (PPRA), and tax clearance.
• Tender security: Ksh 940,000, in the form of an unconditional bank guarantee or other specified security, valid for 120 days from tender opening.
• Evidence of qualifications: Form of Tender, Manufacturer’s Authorization if not manufacturing the goods, agent representation if not local, and adherence to Section III evaluation criteria.
• Conformity to technical specifications: provide evidence of conformity to the Schedule of Requirements (Section V) and include spare parts, maintenance, and sources.
• Joint Venture rules (if applicable): JV Agreement or letter of intent to form JV; joint and several liability; representative with authority to act for all members.
• Financials: prices in Kenya Shillings; compliance with pricing rules and potential local sourcing requirements as outlined in the document.
• Product origin and compliance: origin declarations and adherence to relevant Kenyan environmental/health standards.
