Overview

Supply and delivery of fabricated steel fittings and flanges, with coating, for a period of 3 years as and when required. Bidders should have steel fabrication, welding, coating, and QA capabilities, with relevant certifications (e.g., ISO 3834, API 1104) and NDT experience.

Requirements

• Compulsory Clarification Meeting: 11:00, 29 June 2026 at Pinetown Depot (14 Scott Road). Attendance is mandatory.
• Queries: email by 09 July 2026; answers posted by 16 July 2026 on the eTenders/municipal portals.
• Qualifications: minimum 3 years’ tender experience; proof of awards/complete projects; qualified personnel (Workshop Manager, Boilermaker Artisan, Welder Artisan, Welder’s helper).
• Quality: ISO 3834 and API 1104 compliance; Welding Procedure Specifications or PQR; Dye Penetrant/X-ray proof for supplied specials.
• Documentation: registrations (CSD and eThekwini supplier database), Tax Compliance status or Tax Clearance, VAT status; declarations (Municipal Fees, Interest, Procurement Above R10M, etc.); JV agreements if applicable.
