SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF FIRE DEPARTMENT, COMMUNICATIONS AND DISASTER MANAGEMENT PROTECTIVE CLOTHING (FIRE GEAR)

Overview

Supply and delivery of fire department, communications and disaster management protective clothing (fire gear) for Mossel Bay Municipality. This tender targets suppliers/manufacturers of firefighting PPE with proven experience and registrations (CIDB where applicable, SARS tax clearance, CSD) to supply through to 30 June 2029. Bids are evaluated on functionality (40 points) followed by an 80/20 or 90/10 price-preference system, with locality and B-BBEE considerations affecting up to 20/10 points.

Requirements

• Demonstrated company (or JV) experience in supplying fire department protective clothing (25 points).
• References related to relevant experience (15 points).
• Returnable samples for each item (1.4.2) and proof of authorised dealership for each item (1.4.3).
• CIDB registration (if applicable) and tax/compliance documentation (Tax clearance PIN, SARS; CIDB; CSD registration) (1.2.7, 1.2.8, 1.2.5).
• Locality and BBEE considerations; proof of locality or lease/ownership as required (1.2.26.2).
• Delivery within 8 weeks of order; 30-day payment; warranty and other contract compliance (1.4.5, 1.4.8, 15.1-15.5).
