Overview

Procurement of supply and delivery of Fire Fighting Uniform for Fire Personnel for a period of three (3) years. The contract covers a full range of firefighting apparel and related items (shirts, trousers, skirts, shoes, belts, epaulettes, flashers, caps, gloves, etc.) for Ray Nkonyeni Municipality’s Fire and Disaster Services. Bids are suitable for service providers with experience in public-safety apparel/PPE and the ability to supply multi-item uniforms over three years.

Requirements

• Be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) with proof of registration.
• Comply with tax requirements: SARS Tax Compliance Status (TCS) PIN or Tax Compliance Certificate; if foreign, complete pre-award questionnaire.
• Submit company documents (registered name, registration docs) and IDs of directors/owners; provide JV agreements if applicable.
• Complete and submit all standard forms: MBD1, MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD8, MBD9; pricing via MBD3.2 (Non-Firm).
• Samples will be requested by the bid evaluation committee; failure to submit on time disqualifies.
• Bid validity: 120 days; performance security within 30 days of award.
• Price adjustments: Non-Firm pricing with annual CPI-based escalation.
• Preference points: 80/20 PPPFA with SPECIFIC GOALS for EMEs/QSEs based on black ownership (up to 10/6/4 points, total 20).
• Council reserves right to reject any bid or part, or cancel the bid; no bids from state employees.
