SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF FIRE FIGHTING VEHICLE

Overview

Supply and delivery of a fire fighting vehicle for Nyeri County Government is being procured by the Department of Gender, Youth, Social Services and Sports under Tender CGN/TEND/GYSS&S/02/2026-2027. This open-tender seeks a qualified motor-vehicle supplier capable of meeting fire-fighting vehicle specifications and related services.

Requirements

• Eligibility: open to private entities (including JVs with a representative), non-eligibility of public officers and debarment; no conflict of interest; nationality as per ITT rules.
• Tax and registrations: current tax clearance or exemption; evidence of eligibility; JV documentation if applicable.
• Goods eligibility/origin: origin from eligible countries; Kenyan sourcing rules apply to certain items; environmental and safety compliance.
• Tender security: provide Tender Security or Tender-Securing Declaration; validity per ITT; procedures for forfeiture in case of non-performance.
• Manufacturer authorization: if not manufacturing the goods, provide Manufacturer's Authorization; agent representation if needed.
• JV and related documents: if tender is a joint venture, provide the Joint Venture Agreement or letter of intent; ensure all members are jointly liable.
• Pre-tender/clarifications: submit clarifications in writing by deadlines; amendments issued via addenda; pre-tender meeting details as per TDS.

How to Apply

• Prepare Tender: complete Form of Tender, Price Schedules, Tender Security, Manufacturer Authorization (if required), JV documents (if applicable), and evidence of eligibility/qualifications.
• Submit by deadline: 10 November 2026 at 11:00am; hand delivery to the Tender Box at Nyeri County Government Offices (postal address: P.O. Box 1112-10100 Nyeri) or as otherwise stated; electronic submission if TDS allows.
• Packaging: single sealed envelope per ITT, with separate sub-envelopes for ORIGINAL, COPIES, and any alternative tender if permitted.
