Overview

Procurement of supply and delivery of firewood and charcoal to Tambach Teachers College. Open tender reserved for women, with bidders able to bid for one or more lots; suppliers should have relevant experience in supply and distribution of firewood/charcoal and comply with Kenyan procurement rules.

Requirements

• Eligibility and integrity: comply with Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act; not a public official; not debarred; sign Certificate of Independent Tender Determination; no conflicts of interest.
• Tendering and qualifications: tenderers may be private entities, individuals or JVs; tax clearance; where applicable, Manufacturer’s Authorization; JV arrangements if any; evidence of eligibility and conformity of goods.
• Goods origin and compliance: origin in eligible countries; Kenyan local-content considerations; environmental/health compliance where applicable.
• Documentation and security: Form of Tender, Price Schedules, Tender Security or Tender-Securing Declaration; Joint Venture Agreement if a JV; documentation proving eligibility and conformity of goods; price must be fixed as tendered.
• Submissions and validity: sealed paper tenders, serialized pages, marked originals/copies; tender validity period per TDS; tender security valid beyond submission; no electronic submissions (per invitation).

• Deadline: 21 July 2026 (11:00 local time) per the invitation; metadata lists 09:00 (see SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF FIREWOOD AND CHARCOAL). Tender documents available until then.
• Submission method: complete paper tenders delivered to Tambach TTC; sealed envelopes with ORIGINAL and COPIES; no electronic submission.
