Overview

Supply and delivery of fresh apple mangoes to Makueni County Fruit Development & Marketing Authority (Kalamba) – two-year framework agreement. This framework targets farmer cooperatives and community-based organizations dealing with mangoes within Makueni County and may be renewed subject to satisfactory performance (two-year initial term). Requirements

• Reserved eligibility: only farmer cooperatives and community-based organizations dealing with mangoes within Makueni County.
• Compliance with anti-corruption and fair competition rules; signing Certificate of Independent Tender Determination where required.
• Eligibility checks: not a public officer or related; not debarred; no conflicts of interest as defined in the ITT; permitted JV arrangements if applicable.
• Goods eligibility and conformity: mangoes must meet technical specifications; provide evidence of origin and suitability.
• Documentation: Form of Tender, price schedules, and, if applicable, Joint Venture Agreement; evidence of eligibility; (Manufacturer’s Authorization not required) (Tender security not required per ITT 18.1).
• Alternative tenders: not permitted.
• Tender validity: 140 days; any extension governed by ITT 17.1–17.3.

How to Apply

• Deadline and submission: sealed tenders must be received by 22 October 2026 at 11:00 AM (East Africa Time) and submitted in hard copy to the MCFDMA Kalamba premises tender box; no electronic submissions.
• Documents to submit: Form of Tender, price schedules, JV documents if applicable, evidence of eligibility, and any other documents required in the tendering forms; pages must be serialized.
• Documents to obtain: tender documents may be downloaded for free from www.tenders.go.ke or www.makueni.go.ke; clarifications to be sent to procurement@makueni.go.ke and/or the address below; questions due by 21 October 2026 12:00 Hrs EAT, responses posted on the website.
• Pre-bid conference: none.
