Overview

Procurement of supply and delivery of fresh milk for Central Bank of Kenya – Head Office and regional centres for a period of one year. Eligible dairy suppliers should be able to provide fresh, food-safety compliant milk with reliable delivery to CBK locations in Nairobi (Head Office) plus Eldoret, Kisumu, Mombasa, Nakuru and Kisii centers.

Requirements

• Compliance with Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act and a declared commitment not to engage in corrupt or fraudulent practices.
• Eligibility and qualifications as per ITT: no public-officer conflicts, no debarment, and for JVs joint liability and a named representative.
• Tax compliance: current Kenya Revenue Authority tax clearance certificate.
• If not manufacturing the goods, provision of Manufacturer’s Authorization; if bidding from outside Kenya, local representation for maintenance/spares.
• Substantial conformity of milk and related services to the technical specifications; provide origin declarations and spare-parts information.
• Tender security or tender-securing declaration as specified in the Tender Data Sheet; price quotes fixed (no adjustments unless allowed by TDS).
• All pages serialized, prices in Kenya shillings, and documents prepared in English (with translations where needed).
• If tender is a joint venture, a JV agreement or letter of intent to form a JV is required (Section IV).

How to Apply

• Deadline: 22 October 2026 at 10:30 a.m. East African Time; late tenders will be rejected.
• Submission method: sealed plain envelopes, delivered to Green Tender Box No. 3, Ground Floor, Central Bank of Kenya, Haile Selassie Avenue, Nairobi. Electronic submissions are not permitted.
• Documents to complete/submit: Form of Tender and Price Schedules (Section IV), Tender Security or Tender-Securing Declaration, Joint Venture information (if any), Manufacturer's Authorization (if applicable), tax clearance evidence, and evidence of eligibility/conformity (see Tendering Forms in TENDER DOCUMENT).
• Pre-qualifications/registrations: tax clearance (KRA); any required registrations; evidence of eligibility and conformity as per ITT 15-16.
• Briefing: a pre-tender conference may be held as per the TDS; attendance is not mandatory.
