Overview

Construction of a perimeter wall and installation of cabros at Kosawo Secondary School, Kisumu, open to all qualified construction firms. The open tender covers civil-engineering works for boundary walls and gabion installations at the school, under NG-CDF funding.

Requirements

• Tender security of KSh 50,000 in cash, bank guarantee, or IRA-approved form.
• Eligibility: open to private entities; no public officers; JV not allowed; compliance with integrity/anti-collusion rules.
• Tax compliance: current Kenya Revenue Authority tax clearance certificate.
• Documentation: Manufacturer’s authorization (if applicable) and after-sales service where required; Form of Tender; price schedules; JV documentation if applicable; tender security.
• Page serialization: all tender pages must be serialized chronologically.
• Clarifications/addenda: respond to enquiries by deadlines; amendments via addenda.

How to Apply

• Deadline: 9 July 2026 at 09:00 (local time). Standstill/clarifications per TDS; extendable by addenda.
• Submission method: hard-copy tenders delivered to the Tender Box on the ground floor of Kisumu NG-CDF offices; one original and one copy; electronic submissions not permitted.
• Documents to submit: Form of Tender, Price Schedules, Tender Security, Joint Venture documents (if applicable), Manufacturer’s Authorization (if required), tax clearance, eligibility and conformity evidence, and any other documents in the tender data sheet (see attached documents).
• Registration/pre-qualifications: comply with Kenyan public-procurement rules; evidence of tax clearance; PPRA debar status check.
• Briefing: no pre-tender conference
• Site visit: recommended; to Kosawo Secondary School site (see Notice).
