Overview

Procurement: the supply and delivery of G7 material for Uitkeer roads at Somerset East in the Eastern Cape for DWS Construction South. Bidders should be aggregate suppliers or road-construction contractors capable of supplying G7 material and meeting required supplier qualifications (tax, registration, and compliance) as well as bid-form requirements.

Requirements

• Tax and supplier status: SARS Tax Compliance (PIN) or Tax Clearance; provide CSD number if no TCS; separate TCS/PIN for each party in a JV/consortium.
• Supplier registration: register on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and provide CSD report; active in CSD.
• Company and governance: active registration with the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC); proof of authority to sign bids (board resolution or appointment).
• Bids must include: SBD 1 (Invitation to Bid) and signed SBD 4, SBD 6.1, and pricing documentation (SBD 3.1) as applicable.
• Specific goals for preferential points: ownership by women, people with disabilities, and youth; location of enterprise in the Eastern Cape; B-BBEE level 1–2; must provide Annexures as proof.
• G7 material: may require samples (submit within 5 days of request).
• General contracting: NT GCC and relevant Special Conditions of Contract apply; performance security required; warranties and penalties apply.

  • SARS TCS PIN or Tax Clearance; CSD number (if no TCS).
  • CIPC certificate; B-BBEE status certificate or sworn affidavit for QSE/EME; Annexures 1 and 2 for ownership/location.
  • Authority to sign (board resolution if company).
  • Any other documents listed as mandatory in the bid documents.
