Supply and Delivery of Gases - BID - 2667G

Overview

Procurement of the supply and delivery of high-purity gases for City Power Johannesburg (BID 2667G). The contract covers gases including acetylene, argon, hydrogen, nitrogen, oxygen, propane, synthetic air, SF6 and related gas mixtures, governed by CP_TSSPEC_266.

Bidders must meet B-BBEE requirements (enterprise owned by black women with at least 30% shareholding) and provide valid B-BBEE documentation, plus certified IDs of owners if applicable.

Requirements

• B-BBEE: enterprise owned by black women with at least 30% shareholding; provide valid B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit; consolidated B-BBEE certificate if JV/consortium; ID copies of owners.
• Compliance documents: tax clearance or SARS PIN; Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration; no municipal arrears; not a tender defaulter.
• CIDB/quality: CIDB registration as applicable; compliance with CP_TSSPEC_266 including packaging, labelling, safety and QA standards (ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001).
• Evaluation: minimum 80% functionality threshold; price will be scored (80/20) with B-BBEE goals contributing 20 points.
