Overview

GI piping and associated HDPE fittings are being procured for Ugu District Municipality, with delivery to Park Rynie Stores. Requirements

• Official bid documents must be completed on the specified forms and submitted (MBD1 Part A/B, MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD8, MBD9).
• Registration on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC).
• Tax clearance or SARS Tax Compliance Status (TCS) PIN; provide as required (including for consortia).
• Copies of IDs for directors/owners, and proof of disability if applicable; proof of municipal service payments.
• Declaration forms: MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD8; certificate of independent bid determination (MBD9).
• Bids must be valid for 30 days from closing; late, faxed, or emailed submissions are not accepted.
• Bids from entities in the service of the state are excluded; PPPFA preferences apply (80/20 or 90/10 depending on value) with specific goals for ownership, local promotion, and other goals.

• Submit sealed bids in the official bid box at the above address by the closing date/time (15 October 2026, 12H00) (see MBD1 Part A).
• Use only official forms and attach required documents: CIPC, CSD, SARS TCS PIN, certified IDs, MBD forms (1, 4, 6.1, 8, 9), proof of EME/QSE ownership if claiming goals, and relevant compliance information.
• Note that the evaluation uses PPPFA with 80/20 or 90/10 rules and priority points for predefined goals (ownership, local enterprise, and other goals).
• Ensure compliance with Regulation 44 and state-related prohibitions; no bids from persons in the service of the state.
