Overview

Supply and delivery of gloves and PPE (gloves, UV protection glasses, dust masks) for Ugu District Municipality. The scope covers PPE items with delivery to Marburg stores, under a mini-tender process. Bidders should be PPE suppliers with capacity to source and deliver, and be compliant with CSD, CIPC registrations, and standard bid documentation.

Requirements

• Open to bidders registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and tax-compliant with valid CIPC registration.
• Submit standard bid documents: MBD1 (Parts A/B), MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD8, MBD9.
• Tax compliance: provide SARS Tax Compliance Status PIN or certificate; if foreign or JV, provide separate TCS/CSD as required.
• Attach copies of registrations and supporting docs: CIPC registration, CSD report (not older than 3 months), SARS TCS PIN, and IDs for directors/owners.
• Proof of municipal payments (water account/lease/SAPS affidavit) if applicable; certify specific goals with certified certificates/affidavits for PPPFA points.
• Samples of items (gloves, dust masks, protective glasses) to be delivered on or before the closing date.
• Subject to GCC and PPPFA rules; points for specific goals apply (ownership, local enterprise, and other goals).

How to Apply

• Submission deadline: 28 October 2026, closing time 12:00, in a sealed bid addressed to the bid box at the Ugu District Municipality, 96 Marine Drive, Phase 3, Oslo Beach (Reception). Late submissions will not be considered. Documents must remain valid for 30 days post-closing.
• Submission method: Deposit sealed bids in the official bid box; no fax, email, or post submissions will be accepted.
• Documents to complete/submit: Official bid response forms (MBD1 Parts A & B, MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD8, MBD9).
• Pre-qualifications/registrations: CSD, CIPC, SARS TCS PIN; provide proof as required by the tender.
