Overview

Prequalification for the supply and delivery of hardware and natural building materials to Bungoma County (FY 2026-2028) under National Competitive Bidding. Eligible bidders are hardware/materials suppliers and construction-material vendors with appropriate registrations, financial capacity, and relevant experience. The goods cover items such as sand, bricks, cement, GI sheets, nails, fittings, timber, and related hardware (see attached tender doc for full list).

Requirements

• Eligibility and compliance: meet ITA requirements, avoid fraud/collusion, not debarred; provide evidence of eligibility and satisfy PPRA/anti-corruption rules.
• Financial capability: demonstrate access to liquid assets and credit; meet minimum average annual turnover as per Form FIN-3.2; provide audited statements for the required years.
• Experience and qualifications: demonstrate relevant contracts and management capability; joint ventures allowed under specified rules; specialized subcontractors may be used with prior approval.
• Documentation: provide Form submissions (Application Letter, ELI forms, FIN forms, EXP forms), Tax Compliance Certificate, PIN/VAT, Trading License, Certificate of Registration/Incorporation, Confidential Business Questionnaire, and a company profile; documents must be serialized and complete.

How to Apply

• Deadline: 29 June 2026 at 10:00 local time (the metadata lists 08:00; the PDS specifies 10:00).
• Submission method: sealed envelopes delivered by post or hand to the County Procurement Office; tender boxes outside the Deputy County Commissioners’ offices in Bungoma. Electronic submission is not available.
