SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF HDPE PLASSON COUPLINGS AS PER SIZES OVER 36 MONTHS

Overview

Procurement of the supply and delivery of Plasson HDPE coupling stock items in specified sizes for 36 months. Suitable bidders are hardware/engineering suppliers with water-pipe fittings experience, able to supply Plasson couplings and related fittings, and able to meet municipal SCM and tax/compliance requirements (CSD, SARS TCS, SABS, BBBEE, etc.).

Requirements

• Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration and tax clearance (SARS PIN/TCS) for all bidders; separate TCS/PIN for consortia.
• Original Tax Clearance Certificate (no copies) and SARS eFiling options; ensure compliance for foreign bidders if applicable.
• Completion of mandatory MBD documents (e.g., MBD2, MBD3 pricing, MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD7.1, MBD8) and submission on official forms.
• Proof of company registration, BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit, SABS certificate, and bank rating; reference letters for prior supply/delivery.
• Proof of Central Supplier Database registration, and compliance with municipal data-base requirements.
• Bid security/fees: non-refundable bid fee (R2,000) and administration cost (R1,500) as applicable; ensure payment proof.
• Compliance with “No service of the state” and related declarations; disclose any conflicts of interest.
