Supply and Delivery of Huawei Network Infrastructure Equipment with Huawei Support for Five (5) Years for the Western Cape Government (WCG), Department of the Premier - Centre for e-Innovation (CEI)

Overview

Procurement of Huawei network infrastructure equipment with Huawei support for five years for the Western Cape Government CEI. The contract, issued by SITA as an Open-Tender RFQ, covers supply, delivery, handover documentation, and 5-year Huawei support. Bidders must be Huawei Framework Agreement-accredited suppliers and respond via the SITA ERP portal; the detailed Bill of Materials is in Annexure 6c (Bid Specification).

Requirements

• Huawei Framework Agreement accreditation and ability to supply Huawei hardware and licenses (Annexure 6c).
• Submit responses via the SITA Supplier Oracle ERP portal; no manual submissions (Annexure 6a/6b).
• Tax/compliance: SARS Tax Compliance Status (PIN or TCS) for each entity; separate for joint ventures/consortia (Annexure 6a/6b).
• CIDB registration for joint ventures; lead partner must meet designated classes (1EP/1CE or higher) (Bid Conditions, Annexure 6a).
• Accept GCC and any special conditions; provide back-to-back OEM/OSM when acting as distributor (Annexure 6a).
• Attend briefing session (mandatory) and provide required returnable documents (Annexure 6a).
• Delivery address: 4th Floor, 4 Dorp Street, Cape Town (8001); delivery includes handover with serials/MACs and 5-year Huawei support (Annexure 6c).
