Overview

Supply and delivery of ICT equipment (laptops, tablets and related accessories) to CENTLEC SOC Ltd. Quotation invites IT hardware suppliers and distributors to bid for the listed devices and accessories, with requirements on licensing, registrations, and BBBEE compliance.

Requirements

• Bid documents must be on business letterhead, bound, indexed, and page-numbered.
• Submit company registration documents (CK) and a valid tax clearance or SARS PIN.
• Register on CSD; include CSD report and certified ID copies of the owner(s).
• Provide municipal services clearance or lease with current bill and rates clearance, or current account not more than 90 days outstanding (or official council residence letter for non-billed areas).
• Complete all compulsory MBD forms (MBD 4 and MBD 9) in full.
• SANAS-approved BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit (points awarded if submitted; not disqualifying if not).
• Delivery within 30 days after official order; prices exclude VAT but include delivery; quotes valid for 30 days.
• Offer may be adjusted or portions accepted; preference system applies (80/20) with specified goals: 50% Black-owned, 50% Women-owned, 50% Youth-owned, and Locality points; total 20 points.
• No quotations from non-CSD-registered suppliers; service-of-the-State vendors disqualified.

How to Apply

• Closing date and time: 15 September 2026 at 11:00.
• Submission method: Hand-delivered in a SEALED ENVELOPE to CENTLEC Supply Chain Management, 30 Rhodes Avenue, Oranjesig, Bloemfontein 9301. Emailed quotes are not accepted.
• Documents to submit: corporate registration, tax clearance, CSD details, MBD forms, BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit, and any other bid documents as per the quotation pack. (see Advert C02-2026.pdf)
• Pre-requisites: Must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and provide a CSD number.
