Overview

This tender is for the supply and delivery of Irish potatoes to Tambach Teachers College. It is an open national tender with a reservation for women (per the Invitation to Tender). Tenderers may bid for one or more lots; tenders are to be delivered in hard copy to Tambach College Boardroom, Kenya.

Requirements

• Eligibility and integrity: comply with Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act, 2015; sign the Certificate of Independent Tender Determination; not debarred; no conflicts of interest; no participation by public officers.
• Financial and legal: provide Tender Security or Tender-Securing Declaration; provide current tax clearance.
• Goods and supplier qualifications: evidence of eligibility of goods; conformity to technical specifications; manufacturer authorization if applicable; if not locally manufacturing, provide agent representation in Kenya.
• Origin and procurement rules: origin declarations for goods; Kenya-source restrictions apply to certain items; ensure compliance with environmental and other standards.
• Contract readiness: JV rules (if any) require a Joint Venture Agreement or letter of intent; pages serialized; all documents in English or translated where required.
• Documentation: submit Form of Tender, Price Schedules, and all required annexes as specified in the tender documents.

How to Apply

• Obtain tender documents: pay KSHS 1,000 (cash or Banker's Cheque) or download for free from www.tambachteacherstraining.co.ke (and email your particulars to tambachttc@yahoo.com) (INVITATION TO TENDER).
• Submission: hard-copy tender to Tambach Teachers College Boardroom by 21 July 2026 at 11:00 (late tenders rejected; electronic submissions not permitted).
• Contents: Form of Tender, Price Schedules, Tender Security or Declaration, Joint Venture documents (if applicable), Manufacturer Authorization (if applicable), tax clearance, eligibility/ conformity evidence, and any other documents listed in the Tender Data Sheet.
• Briefing/clarification: requests for clarification in writing; pre-tender conference if called; minutes published as described in the tender rules.
• Opening: tenders opened publicly after the deadline in the presence of attending tenderers.
