Overview

Supply and delivery of laboratory reagents and related laboratory consumables for hospitals and rural health facilities in Kwale County. Bidders should have experience in medical laboratory supply/distribution, the ability to provide a wide range of reagents and consumables listed in the Schedule of Requirements, and capacity to deliver to multiple facilities. Compliance with Kenyan public procurement rules and relevant certifications (e.g., tax clearance, manufacturer authorization where applicable) is required.

Requirements

• Open tender to qualified tenderers; joint ventures allowed with shared liability
• Tender security or tender securing declaration; declaration of independence and eligibility
• Manufacturer authorization if the tenderer does not manufacture the goods
• Compliance with tax obligations; evidence such as a current tax clearance certificate
• Tender documents to be prepared using specified forms, with serialized pages; pricing in prescribed price schedules; all pages serially numbered
• Eligibility and conformity of goods to specifications; evidence of origin and conformity to Section VII Schedule of Requirements
• Compliance with anti-corruption, competition, and transparency provisions; avoidance of conflicts of interest
• If a joint venture, JV agreement or letter of intent to form one must be included
• Price quotes must be valid for the specified period; offers may require extension if requested
