Overview

Supply and delivery of laboratory chemicals to PPECB’s Centurion laboratory under a 3-year contract (with a 2-year renewal option). Bidders should be capable chemical suppliers with QA/compliance systems, able to supply the listed chemicals (34 items) and meet PPECB’s delivery, QA, and confidentiality requirements (Invitation to Tender: Supply and Delivery of Laboratory Chemicals for PPECB).

Requirements

• Accreditation and governance: industry accreditation (e.g., ISO 9001); robust QA controls.
• Compliance and registrations: register on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) with Master Registration Number; provide Tax Compliance PIN or SARS status; valid tax clearance.
• Tender documentation: complete and sign required forms (e.g., SBD1, SBD4, SBD6.1), provide BBBEE certificate (or consolidated JV/consortium documentation if applicable).
• Technical and QA commitments: provide Certificate of Analysis and safety data sheets for each product; confirm shelf-life (minimum 75% remaining or ≥12 months); provide 12+ month lead times, stock forecasts, and at least 3 client references.
• Commercial and risk: fixed pricing (where applicable) for delivery, insurance proof, and adherence to GCC/SCC terms; ensure capability to supply all items with delivery to Centurion; liability and data protection commitments.
