Overview

Supply and delivery of laboratory consumables for the Department of Water and Sanitation. Open to South African bidders; scope includes standard lab consumables and chemical standards used in water-quality testing; bidders must meet PFMA and related procurement requirements, and their local supplier status and tax compliance may be verified.

Requirements

• Bidders must be registered or eligible to bid in South Africa and comply with PFMA, tax and related procurement requirements; local supplier status may be verified.
• Tax compliance: provide SARS PIN for verification; if no Tax Compliance Status (TCS) is available, provide a Central Supplier Database (CSD) number; if part of a joint venture/consortium, each party must submit its own TCS/CSD.
• B-BBEE: provide a B-BBEE status verification certificate or sworn affidavit to qualify for preference points.
• Submission on official forms with pricing schedules (SBD4/SBD7) and, where applicable, two client reference letters; no bids from persons in the state service.

How to Apply

• Check the latest bid edition for the correct deadlines; multiple versions exist with different closing dates (e.g., see WQ-32927 bid document.pdf and variants such as WQ-32927 bid document (3).pdf, (2).pdf, etc.).
• Submit bid response documents in the bid box at the address specified in the relevant bid document, by the stipulated closing time (late bids not accepted).
• Complete and submit documents: official bid forms (SBD4 and SBD7), pricing schedule, and tax registrations (PIN/TCS) or CSD number; ensure CSD/TCS for each party in a JV/consortium.
