SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF LABORATORY EQUIPMENT FOR MZIMVUBU WATER PROJECT - ACCESS ROAD NEAR MACLEAR IN THE EASTERN CAPE PROVINCE

Overview

Procurement of the supply and delivery of laboratory equipment for the Mzimvubu Water Project – Access Road near Maclear, Eastern Cape. Bidders should have experience supplying laboratory testing equipment (civil/materials testing focus) and be able to meet South African PPPFA requirements, BBEE status, and related compliance.

Requirements

• Complete bid documents on official forms; sign and submit SBD1, SBD3.1, SBD4 (and later contract form SBD7 if successful).
• Compliance with tax and supplier registers: provide SARS PIN / Tax Compliance Status, CSD number if no TCS, and be tax compliant.
• Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration; active with SARS and Companies IP Commission where applicable.
• BBEE documentation: submit BBEE verification certificate or sworn affidavit; annexures for ownership/location (Annexure 1 and Annexure 2) stamped by commissioner.
• Attendance at the compulsory briefing session and full completion of required pricing and governance sections.
• Compliance with the PPPFA 2022 80/20 evaluation framework; Phase 1–4 evaluation including mandatory and administrative requirements, technical/compliance, and preference points.
• Ensure bid for all items listed in the price schedule (pricing must be complete and firm); include transport costs to site.
• If a joint venture/subcontractor bid, each party must provide separate TCS/CSD details.
• Delivery and payment terms: EFT payments; contract to be signed in ink.
