Overview

The Capricorn District Municipality invites bids to supply and deliver laboratory equipment/instruments and related services. Open tender for suppliers of laboratory equipment capable of installation, operation training, product information data sheets, SDS, and warranty support, with compliance to PPPFA/tax, required MBD forms, and relevant registrations (CSD/CIDB where applicable). No bids from persons in the state’s service.

Requirements

• PPPFA and Tax compliance: provide Tax Clearance or SARS PIN, and a valid CSD number; foreign bidders may need a pre-award questionnaire; separate TCS/PIN per party if in a JV.
• Bid documentation: complete and sign all mandatory forms (MBD1, MBD4, MBD5 if applicable, MBD6.1, MBD7.1, MBD8, MBD9) and pricing schedule; use black ink; initial each page; bids valid for 90 days.
• Registrations/prequalifications: evidence of CSD registration; CIDB where applicable; municipal rates/taxes or lease/tribal authority proof; CIDB only if construction scope applies.
• Compliance/ethics: no service of the state; disclose interests as required; avoid tender defaulters lists; sign declaration forms.
• Site briefing: compulsory site inspection on 04 September 2026 at University of Limpopo (10:00).
• Delivery/contract terms: sealed envelopes, delivered to the bid box by the closing time; payment within 30 days of invoice; detailed GCC/GCC-compliant terms apply.

• Documents to submit: completed official bid forms (MBD1, MBD4, MBD5 where applicable, MBD6.1, MBD7.1, MBD8, MBD9); pricing schedule; CSD number; CIDB (if required); tax status; proof of municipal rates; JV documentation if any; evidence of site briefing attendance.
• Pre-qualifications: Tax Compliance/PIN (or TCS certificate), CSD number; CIDB where applicable; proof of professional registration where required; ensure no conflict of interest disclosures.
• Briefing session: compulsory briefing on 04 Sept 2026 at University of Limpopo, 10:00.
