Overview

The National Treasury invites Tenderers to supply and deliver Laptop Computers. The contract covers related services (e.g., installation, training, initial maintenance) as applicable. Eligible bidders include ICT hardware suppliers capable of meeting the Kenyan public-procurement requirements (no conflicts of interest, not debarred, tax-compliant). The tender is open to qualified firms or Joint Ventures per the ITT.

Requirements

• Bid Security of 500,000 Kenyan Shillings, valid for 30 days beyond tender validity.
• Tenders must be delivered in hard copy to the Tender Box on the 6th Floor, Treasury Building, Nairobi, by 11:00 A.M. East Africa Time on 6 October 2026; electronic submissions are not permitted.
• Complete and submit: Form of Tender, Price Schedules, Tender Security or Tender-Securing Declaration, Manufacturer's Authorization (if applicable), JV agreements (if JV), and evidence of qualifications and eligibility.
• Compliance with Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act 2015: include independent tender determination declaration; anti-corruption/conflict declarations; not debarred.
• Eligibility and conformity: provide proof the Goods meet the technical specs; provide country of origin declarations; Kenyan tax clearance; proof of manufacturer authorization if you are not the manufacturer.
• Origin rules: certain ICT goods must be sourced from Kenya; no substitutions from foreign sources for listed categories (ICT included).
• If a JV, nominate a representative and supply Joint Venture Agreement (or letter of intent to execute).
• Documentation must be in English; include all required stamps, signatures, and page serialization.

• Submit in a single sealed package containing an “ORIGINAL” tender and “COPIES” as described in ITT 20; hand-deliver to the Tender Box, 6th Floor, Treasury Building, Nairobi, by 11:00 A.M. on 6 October 2026. (DOCUMENT)
