Overview

This tender invites bids for the supply and delivery of laptops and desktops for a period of two years to Kouga Local Municipality. It is an open-tender for IT hardware, including notebooks, desktops, and accessories, with a requirement for new devices, licensing, and a 2-year warranty. Requirements

• Proven experience: minimum 3 completed laptop/desktop contracts with evidence (appointment letters, references, SLAs, invoices, delivery notes) (see Special Conditions, Table 1).
• Compliance documents: valid Tax Compliance Pin or SARS PIN; Central Database (CSD) number; National Treasury Central Database Summary Report; municipal billing clearance; certified ID copies; latest audited financial statements (if applicable); project implementation plan (if applicable); sign-off on all compulsory bidding documents (in black ink).
• B-BBEE: submit a B-BBEE status verification certificate or sworn affidavit to claim specific-goals points.
• Tender conditions: no bids from persons in the state’s service; complete and sign all pages; adhere to GCC/SCC; no correction fluid; ink signatures.
• Scope & warranties: devices must be new, with Windows 11 Pro licensing (and Mac options), 2-year warranty (1-year manufacturer + 1 year), and support for municipal software customization.
• Evaluation criteria: 80 points for price, 20 for specific goals (including locality and B-BBEE); 80/20 or 90/10 system depending on rand value (per Regulations).
• Documentation to hand in: pricing schedule, form of offer/acceptance, declarations, and Schedule of Previous Work (and other listed forms in the tender package) (see Tender Document).
