Overview

RFQ for the supply and delivery of local-content steel key cabinet materials and ceiling materials to the Mzimvubu Water Project in the Eastern Cape. Bidders should be suppliers of building materials (gypsum boards, glass, jointing tape, drywall screws, glazing putty, gypsum plaster, glass cutter, cornice, screws, and a 30-key cabinet) with local-content capabilities and relevant certifications. Requirements

• Local-content declaration and compliance as per SATS Annex C.
• Preference using the 80/20 system (price 80, specific goals 20); specific goals include Women ownership, Disability ownership, Youth ownership, local Eastern Cape location, and BBBEE level contribution.
• Bidders must complete and submit SBD4 Bidder’s Disclosure and SBD6.1 Preference Points Claim Form.
• Tax compliance: provide SARS Tax Compliance Status PIN or CSD number; every party in a consortium/joint venture must provide separate TCS/CSD.
• No bids from persons in the service of the state or close ties to state officials; adherence to PFMA SCM instructions.
• The contract, if awarded, will require signing the SBD7.
