Overview

Supply and Delivery of LV Power and Control Cables and MV Power Cables to Eskom's Cape Coastal Cluster (Eastern Cape) for two years on an “As and When required” basis. This open NEC3 SC3 tender by Eskom Distribution seeks LV (600/1000V) and MV cables from cable manufacturers, distributors or EPCs capable of meeting Eskom specifications and delivering under E-tendering. The process includes a non-mandatory clarification meeting (23 Sept 2026) and closing on 06 Oct 2026 at 10:00, with a 120-day tender validity. Requirements

• Eligibility: tenderers must meet Eskom Tender Data criteria, not be restricted from doing business with Eskom or SOEs, and not be on defaulters lists or conflict of interest; JV/consortium rules apply (as per ITT).
• Certifications and documents: SBD 1, SBD 4, SBD 6.1/6.2, Annexures A–J (Local/Imported Content where applicable), CPA/IG declarations, and pricing schedules (PDF and Excel).
• Environmental and OHS: comply with Eskom SHEQ/OHS requirements (Annexure B) and environmental evaluation (Environmental Scoring Card template Rev 6).
• Technical standards: LV 600/1000V cables and MV XLPE/PILC cables per Eskom specifications (see LV: 240-56063805; MV: 240-56063792).
• Submission: electronic via Eskom E-tendering; PDFs up to 500MB per document, total 4GB; price list must include PDF and Excel copies.
• Clarifications and site visits: non-mandatory clarification meeting 23 Sept 2026 (MS Teams); clarifications due 5 working days before closing.
• Contract: NEC3 SC3, with deliveries to Eskom Cape Coastal Cluster (East London) over 24 months starting 01 Nov 2026. (See SC3 Contract).
