Overview

The Msunduzi Municipality invites bids to supply and deliver lubricants and oils for its Materials department under a three-year contract. This is an open-tender targeting service providers with proven experience in Lubricants/Oils supply, capable of nationwide delivery, and able to meet regulatory registrations (CSD, SARS Tax Clearance, CID/CIPC).

Requirements

• Experience in the supply and delivery of lubricants and oils (Stage 1: up to 60 points; min 40 to pass).
• Compliance and registrations: CSD registration with Supplier Number and Unique Registration Reference Number; valid SARS Tax Clearance and Tax Compliance Status Pin.
• Preferential procurement: points for Black Owned Enterprise, Women-owned, and location of business (total 20 points).
• VAT matters: all prices must be VAT inclusive, regardless of vendor VAT status.
• Tender documentation: complete data sheets and tender forms (e.g., Declaration of Interest, Authority to Sign, Pricing Schedule, etc.), duly signed and where applicable stamped by a Commissioner of Oaths.
• Delivery terms: delivery obligations as per contract; penalties for late delivery; SLA to be executed before works commence.
• Other: compliance with two-stage evaluation and Msunduzi SCM policies; no allotment guarantees on the lowest tender; partial awards may occur to empower SMMEs/locals.

• Submission method: hard copy and a CD/USB in sealed envelopes, placed in the Tender Box at Msunduzi Central Stores, 2 Abattoir Road, Pietermaritzburg. Public opening.
