Overview

Supply and delivery of machines for community development. The procurement covers sewing machines, industrial sewing/repair machines, tools and related equipment to support community development projects in Ugu District (Oslo Beach). Bidders should be suppliers/manufacturers of durable machinery and general workshop tools, with the ability to deliver to 96 Marine Drive, Phase 3, Oslo Beach, and meet project timelines. Vendors must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) or provide a SARS Tax Compliance Status PIN, and comply with PPPFA alongside submitting the required forms.”

Requirements

• CSD registration or SARS TCS PIN (or both) and proof in the bid
• Compliance with PPPFA and the relevant Preferential Procurement Regulations
• Submit official forms: MBD1, MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD8, MBD9 (and supporting documentation)
• Provide company/partner documents: CIPC registration, certified IDs of directors/owners, VAT number, etc.
• Evidence for specific goals if claimed (e.g., EME/QSE ownership) and proof of local enterprise status
• Bids must be on official forms, with all documents in the tender pack; late, faxed, or incomplete submissions are invalid

How to Apply

• Obtain documents from Ugu District Municipality (Treasury, SCM Office, 96 Marine Drive, Oslo Beach) or download from the website; documents available from 19 October 2026 to closing (Tender Document REQ27155).
• Submit sealed bids in the official bid box at 96 Marine Drive, Phase 3 Oslo Beach, no later than 12:00 on 26 October 2026 (see Tender Document for exact closing time; ensure bid number REQ27155 is visible). Bids submitted by fax or email are not accepted; quotes must remain valid for 30 days.
• Include all required forms: MBD1, MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD8, MBD9 and supporting documents, plus proof of CSD or TCS, tax clearance, and local/government-ownership evidence as applicable.
