Overview

The Border Management Authority invites quotes for the supply and delivery of marketing and promotional items (BMA-branded merchandise). Suppliers with experience in promotional item sourcing, branding, warehousing and distribution should consider bidding. The bid is via ETender, with a closing date of 02 September 2026 at 11:00.

Requirements

• Tax and supplier compliance: provide SARS PIN/TCS status or CSD number; tax clearance as applicable; compliant with PFMA requirements.
• B-BBEE: submit a BBBEE status level verification certificate or sworn affidavit for preference points.
• Official forms and documents: complete and submit SBD 1, SBD 3.1 (Pricing Schedule), SBD 4, SBD 6.1, and SBD 7; sign the contract on SBD 7.
• Eligibility: no participation by state officials or close connections; foreign suppliers must complete the foreign-supplier questionnaire if applicable.
• Pricing and delivery: firm prices (no rate variations); prices must be inclusive of taxes; 120-day bid validity; delivery terms as specified in the contract.
• Additional terms: successful bidder may undergo negotiations/presentations if shortlisted; compliance with general and special contracting conditions.
